Born in Amangal, Mahabubnagar, Telangana, Appam Raghava is a distinguished contemporary Indian artist whose work explores the powerful intersection of Indian mythology and nature. A graduate of the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad, he holds both a Bachelor’s (BFA) and Master’s (MFA) degree in Painting, forming a strong foundation for his evolving artistic practice.

Raghava’s visual language is deeply rooted in figurative expression, with a recurring and profound engagement with Lord Hanuman as his central muse.
